Shopify store setup in Türkiye: what to plan before launch

Setting up Shopify is more than choosing a theme and uploading products. Platform fit, payments, shipping, product structure, mobile UX and operations should be planned together.

Who is Shopify suitable for?

Shopify can suit businesses that want lower technical maintenance and central product/order management.

How should products and categories be prepared?

Categories and filters should follow how customers search rather than internal stock logic.

Payment, shipping and launch tests

Verify provider compatibility and test purchase, failed payment, notifications, redirects and indexing before launch.

Launch with an operational checklist, not only a design checklist

Before launch, place real test orders through every important payment and delivery path. Verify taxes, shipping thresholds, discount rules, inventory changes, confirmation emails, failed-payment recovery, refund handling and the data sent to analytics. A visually finished store is not commercially ready if the team cannot reliably fulfil, cancel or refund an order.

Protect search visibility during launch as well. Check indexability, canonical URLs, product and collection metadata, internal links, structured data, sitemap output and redirects from any previous platform. If the store replaces an existing site, preserving useful URLs and mapping retired pages is usually more important than launching every new design element on day one.
